It uses highly purified polynucleotides — naturally derived DNA fragments — to work at the most superficial layer of the skin. It activates the fibroblast cells that produce collagen and elastin, and improves blood circulation under the eye.

Standard HA fillers attract water like a sponge — which is why they cause swelling and can create bulges when you smile. PEG-HA Filler uses a completely different crosslinking technology: PEG (polyethylene glycol) instead of BDDE.

Based on clinical observation, approximately 70% of results are maintained at 3 months — higher than standard collagen fillers, which typically begin fading at this point. A RE-NEAU™ session typically takes 30–45 minutes, including consultation and preparation time. Topical numbing cream is applied beforehand to maximise comfort. You can return to most daily activities immediately after.
For most patients, RE-NEAU™ is performed as a single session, with a review at 4–6 weeks to assess results. A maintenance session is typically recommended every 9–12 months to sustain optimal results. Some patients with more pronounced concerns may be advised to do 2 sessions closer together — your doctor will personalise this plan during consultation.
Topical numbing cream is applied before the procedure, making it well-tolerated by the vast majority of patients. Most describe the sensation as mild pressure or a brief pinch. Re20 tends to be very comfortable — many patients rate it around 2/10 on a pain scale. The under-eye area is sensitive, but our doctors use fine-gauge needles and cannulas where appropriate to minimise discomfort.
Side effects are generally mild and temporary. Common responses include minor redness, small injection-site bumps (papules), or slight tenderness, which typically settle within 24–72 hours. Bruising is possible but uncommon. Because PEG-HA Filler uses PEG crosslinking with no BDDE, the risk of inflammatory reaction is very low. The Tyndall effect (bluish hue under the skin) seen with some HA fillers is not typically associated with it at appropriate injection depths. All components are biocompatible and either naturally biodegraded or dissolvable if needed.
Downtime is minimal. Most patients return to work and social activities the same day or the next morning. We advise avoiding intense exercise, saunas, steam rooms, and alcohol for 24–48 hours post-treatment. Makeup can typically be applied the following day. This is one of the key advantages of RE-NEAU™ over traditional HA fillers — the significantly reduced swelling means there is no need for an extended recovery period.
Yes — and it is often recommended. RE-NEAU™ works very well alongside botulinum toxin (for crow’s feet and forehead lines), energy-based devices such as LDM, Monopolar RF, or laser treatments for overall skin quality improvement. Because Re20 strengthens the ECM foundation, it actually enhances the effectiveness of most other skin treatments. Your doctor will advise on the ideal sequencing and spacing of treatments during consultation.
